WHAT DO I MEAN BY ECO-FRIENDLY GARDENING?
Eco-friendly (aka environmentally-friendly) is a term used to describe products, services, or practices that are not harmful to the environment, and therefore, not harmful to humans or wildlife as well. Being more aware of how we use our natural resources, such as water, air and soil is a critical component of being eco-friendly. And, since I use a bicycle and manual gardening tools, no fossil fuels are involved, nor are pesticides or herbicides.

ORGANIC VEGETABLE GARDENING
This year, I am offering vegetable gardening consulting and care. I can:
Help you start a vegetable garden (if you do not already have one).
Assist with companion planting, plant selection, pest management, watering/drainage, and maintenance (weeding, harvesting, soil preparation/amendments, etc.).
Take soil samples (I collect the sample, package and send it to a lab) to determine whether your soil is safe for growing vegetables —and whether you should install a raised bed.
